Interpretation – Alternate Collar Styles
The Naked House Boy is issued a collar of a style and construction selected by the Master (See below, Rule #40) and enforcement of these rules begins at the moment of first collaring, regardless of location or circumstance. After the initial collaring, the Master will decide where and when the formal collar is to be worn and may permit or require a light collar (like a necklace or ankle bracelet) to be worn instead of the formal collar. When the boy is allowed to go without a collar, the boy is still subject to full enforcement of these rules, and he shall be assumed to be wearing an ‘invisible collar’ instead. Choker-type collars are generally prohibited for safety reasons.
It shall not be a violation of the Collar Rules for the Master to issue an alternative formal or informal collar of any material or design to be worn on any body part and in any manner or style, nor for the Master to require the boy to wear an alternative collar either while naked or clothed and away from home during any activity whether the Master is present or not. Altering or removal of an alternate style collar is punishable the same as tampering or removing any other collar. The House Boy must allow an alternative collar to be safely examined by any person who directly asks to do so, even if this means removing clothing to allow the collar to be seen, except when doing so would violate a dress code (like at a mall or other place where nudity is prohibited).
In the example photo, the House Boy is issued an alternative leather collar – with the boy’s first name monogrammed in silver – to be worn around the base of the boy’s penis. It is the boy’s responsibility to ensure that the collar remains properly displayed and affixed, and to present it for examination on request. Since the monogram is partially hidden, the boy may be forced to cooperate with any request to read it even if this means that the collar needs to be twisted counter-clockwise far enough so that the monogram is fully visible.
Alternative collars may be used with leashes and leads (See below, Rule #5) or single restraints (See below, Rule #110) at the Master’s discretion, and the Master has the right to use adhesives such as glue or tape to ensure that the alternative collar is securely attached. The House Boy will not be disciplined for reapplying adhesives to remain in compliance with this rule. The prohibition against choker-style collars does not apply to jewelry or alternative collars worn around the ankles, wrists, legs, arms, chest, waist, or scrotum and penis combined.
Alternative style collars may be removed by the boy during showers, grooming, and water exercise but must be reinstalled afterward. Violation of any part of this rule is punishable with a Level Two Spanking.
