House Boys are required to keep themselves clean and presentable at all times. This includes showering and washing their hair, tending to skin and nail care, meeting fitness and wellness goals, and undergoing regular inspections. Each boy is also required to submit to a weekly cleansing enema. Like all of the boy’s scheduled activities, this one must begin at the assigned time regardless of who may be present and could observe.

A schedule of the Naked House Boy’s chores and scheduled activities is posted weekly for guests to familiarize themselves with, and this procedure is also announced 20-30 minutes ahead of the assigned time so that guests who wish to excuse themselves have an opportunity to do so. During this time the boy will prepare the Enema Area with the necessary equipment and he will prepare the solution that is to be used. As the assigned time approaches, the Master will explain to any remaining visitors that while they are welcome to observe the process if they are curious, that the guests are welcome to remain in the family room and watch television or listen to music if they prefer. The boy has no say in who gets to watch and who does not, since the Naked House Boy has no right to privacy at any time.

Administering of a cleansing enema involves repeated cycles of fill, hold, and release. This can be daunting to even experienced House Boys, and the Master will reassure the boy (and anyone observing) by saying, “This is simply a cleansing process and there is no reason to be embarrassed, even if the procedure causes an unintentional erection of the penis.” (See ‘Appropriate Terminology’ Rule).

Standard enema procedure calls for three fill-hold-and-purge cycles, though that number may be reduced to as few as one cycle or as many as five, depending on the boy’s activity level, behavior and cleanliness the previous week. Following the enema procedure, the House Boy takes his evening shower and prepares for bed.

The weekly cleansing enema is the least popular (to the Master’s House Guests) of the boy’s scheduled duties and chores. About 85% of the Master’s friends do not choose to observe this procedure. (The most popular are the Exercise Period and Shower Times, with over 90% and over 80% of guests staying to watch). Still, the House Rules do state that the boy has no right to any privacy of his body, so a guest who is curious about the procedure will be allowed to pull up a chair and watch, or even volunteer to assist.
