Equipment Storage & Use – Handcuffs
One pair of fully functional handcuffs will be kept on the property or in the Master’s vehicle at all times. One of the two keys will be kept on the Master’s keyring, and the other will be placed in a tamper-evident plastic flip, taped to the underside of a fire extinguisher inside the home. This permits the use of the key in an emergency but also prevents misuse without the Master’s knowledge.
Handcuffs may be installed on the House Boy as part of any Level Three Punishment, or for behavior control (to keep hands from wandering), or for demonstration purposes. A boy who is Objectified may be cuffed, and handcuffs may be used as part of a Single Restraint to control his movement. Handcuffs are considered jewelry – not clothing – and the House boy will usually be required to remain naked if handcuffs are installed when he is undressed. A clothed House Boy may also be handcuffed to allow easier removal of his clothing by Master or someone else.
When the House Boy has his movement limited under the ‘Single Restraint’ rule, handcuffs may be used to attach the restraint to the chain between the two cuffs, or one cuff may be used to attach his wrist to a fixed object for securement. The over-tightening of handcuffs will not be used as a punishment or cause restriction of blood flow.
The House Boy has the right to have handcuffs removed to allow for sitting on the toilet or doing scheduled exercises. A volunteer may be assigned to hold and aim his penis while urinating if one is available. Unauthorized access to a handcuff key is a Level Three Insubordination.
